The Law Office of Derek R. Van Gilder was established in Greenway Plaza, Houston, Texas in 1985. After identifying a need for sophisticated legal services in the rapidly growing area southeast of Austin, we purchased the 916 Main Street building in Bastrop, Texas and the office was relocated in 1995.

Since 1985 we have not only provided these legal services, but we have demonstrated a strong commitment to civic, charity and community involvement.
